Lukas Felix Pohl (*1991, Cologne) is a writer and filmmaker. He has lived, studied, and worked in Canada, the United States, Austria, Spain, Poland, the Netherlands, and France. As a Creative Director and Director, he has created commercials and visual storytelling formats for international brands and markets, including Siemens, NIVEA, Deutsche Welle, Allianz, and HUGO BOSS, among others. His work is shaped by diverse, international teams and a strong multilingual background. He speaks German, English, French, and Spanish; the Provence has become a second home to him. His work has received several awards, including Gold at the German Brand Award and the Digital Communications Awards.
In 2019, he founded the production company Cinewerk and directed the documentary film THE POWER RESET (Amazon Prime), which portrays how a small town independently drives the energy transition. In parallel, he developed fictional short films that have been screened and awarded at various European festivals. His short stories and prose have been published in literary magazines, including erostepost.
In early 2025, his film concept MEIN ROBOTER IST KAPUTT was selected from over 150 submissions for the Wild@Heart competition initiated by the Bundesverband Regie. The subsequent pitch at the Berlinale was awarded First Prize. Together with a renowned Berlin-based production company, Lukas is currently developing the feature film adaptation. In parallel, he is developing further projects and new short films that will enter the festival circuit in the coming months.
